Farm Updates

Hello Everyone,

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through our hay sales and loading schedule.

Last week, we unfortunately had to turn some customers away because we ran out of time to load everyone. While we still have hay available under the barn, all of that inventory has already been reserved.

We currently have the following available for purchase:

• Triticale: $4.00 per bale
• Weedy Alfalfa (Small Bales): $5.00 per bale
• Weedy Alfalfa (Large Bales): $50.00 per bale

Please note that we will not begin loading available hay sales at 7:00 a.m. this week. Our first priority will be loading the customers who were turned away last week. We anticipate completing those loads around 10:00 a.m. Once those customers have been taken care of, we will begin loading anyone else wanting to purchase alfalfa (small or large bales).

Looking ahead to future cuttings, we will be implementing a few changes to help us better serve all customers and manage demand more effectively:

• The price of hay will increase to $8.00 per bale.
• During the first two days of sales, purchases will be limited to 100 bales per customer.

These changes are intended to give more customers access to hay while also helping reduce the strain on our loading operations.

We also recognize that not everyone receives these email updates. We are actively exploring better ways to communicate with our customers and will provide additional information soon.
